All of our Editors strickly adhere to the following Code of Ethics:
Impartiality: all manuscripts submitted to LAJAM will be judged solely on their scientific merit without regard of authors, professional affiliation, nationality, sex or beliefs
Confidentiality: the information contained in any manuscript submitted to LAJAM, as well as any correspondence between the editors, the authors, and the reviewers, is privileged and will not be divulged to third parties under any circumstance
Conflicts of Interest: all editors should avoid conflicts of interest, either real or perceived, at all costs. Any member from the Editorial Board who is an author or coauthor in a manuscript submitted to LAJAM (or who is a member of the same institution or close collaborator of the authors), must inform the Editor-in-Chief and recuse her/himself from any handling of the manuscript. In such cases another Associate Editor will assume responsibility for handling.
Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step process.
