Dear readers, we are pleased to announce the publication of the latest issue of Latin American Journal of Aquatic Mammals Vol. 19 No. 1. April 2024 as a Special Issue on the Biology and Conservation of Manatees. Guest editors for the special issue were Drs Ana Carolina O. de Meirelles, Rodrigo Amaral, João Carlos G. Borges, and Nataly Castelblanco-Martínez.
